Sometimes you have to trick it with a fake task. Invent an essay or homework you HAVE to do, and then you'll go, "...eh, screw this! I'm gonna draw COMICS".
That's what I'm doing all day at work, but apparently drawing comics at work is 'frowned upon'.
comics?
comics comics comics. (Deleted comment)
Quick Ash, it's the elusive Comics! You gotta catch'em all!
You chose 'rolling pin attack' ... it's super effective!
It looks like that girl is telling you something URGENT AND IMPORTANT! Good thing you're nodding!!
I could tell that decisive action was needed. I may have also said 'uh huh'.
Did you see the E3 announcements :O?
But if I was playing a game that only used the position of my body and the expression on my face, how would anyone know I was playing video games? The new microsoft system spells doom for comic artists everywhere!
Phew! For a minute there you were going to run me out of the history game, now my position is safe! It is the meta game for you
Wait until you see my comic history of history comics.
aaah i was going to do a comic EXACTLY like this comic, and you beat me to the punch. your'e a funny guy and obviously i can relate to this sentiment.
It's the opposite for me... GAMES GAMES GAMES GAMES.... COMICS!
Ha ha ha, this is so damn true! That's me, near enough every day, I spend all day avoiding work while dreaming up the greatest ever comics never seen but by the time I'm home, I'm taken over by some lazy brainless guy who just wants to sit playing video games or watching Ashes to Ashes.
I like to think that if I didn't have to work I would be a comics creating machine, but I suspect I'd just spend all day playing video games instead. And silently weeping.
A comic called comics comics where all the balloons are filled with the word comics...
I think you're on to a winner.
It's Funny Cause it's True!
I have to ask, what Wii game is your comic-self being distracted with?
Most recently I've actually been playing Plants Vs Zombies on my PC (see previous LJ entry), but since I play it on my cintiq using a stylus it would actually just look like I was drawing, which would have made for a really confusing final panel. I have used ARTISTIC LICENSE, and I liked it.
You know, the only reason I started drawing is so I could get an ARTISTIC LICENSE. But it is awkward when I go to get it out of my wallet and I can't find it cause I didn't put it back in its usual pocket and I end up fumbling around for it wondering if I left it on the counter back at the bagel shop... |
